2012 Trek Superfly AL Elite (Gary Fisher Collection)

Trek's Superfly AL Elite offers pro-level handling and speed at a price that even un-sponsored racers can afford. And, even if you never race it, you'll love the light, efficient Trek Platinum Series aluminum frame with Gary Fisher's G2 geometry for amazing handling, the 100mm-travel Fox fork for total control and the 29-inch Bontrager wheels and tires for rolling over anything. Also, a short wheelbase and the custom fork give you power on the climbs, control on the descents and all the benefits of big wheels with super-quick handling and snappy steering. And, in the components department, you get a precision 3x10 Shimano SLX/XT drivetrain, powerful SLX disc brakes and Bontrager Race Lite controls so you're ready for anything from turning heads on your local trails to winning races on the weekends.

the geometry is Dialed and TREK has the best riding and handling 29ers out there. Also has the best warranty (lifetime) This this is A LOT beefier than the Paragon models they replaced (now wtih 100 degree fork) and went from 71/74 angles to 69/72.. Slacker is MUCH better.

This bike is awesome. I've been saving up for it for a long time and it does not disappoint. One thing that was no good was that I got 2 flats my first off road ride. Offering customers a tubeless option at purchase time would have been a good selling point.
